Speaking at the ‘One Voice’ choir concert, Fiona Mactaggart MP for Slough said, “I welcome this way of celebrating world mental health day. It is a great way to promote good mental health, singing together and enjoying the company of others helps protect people who are at risk of mild anxiety or sadness spiralling into a clinical problem.
“Citizens can help people get well just by talking. Celebrating, singing and music can really help.”
The One Voice choir concert was presented by Slough Community Mental Health Team and took place on World Mental Health Day, 10th October 2014 at the West Wing Arts Centre.
