Fiona Mactaggart, MP for Slough joined Gilda Witte, CEO of Ovarian Cancer Action in Parliament at the launch of its BRCA 1/2 testing report launch. The report calls on more women to be tested for the inherited BRCA ½ gene to try and cut the number of women who from ovarian cancer.
Fiona said, “A woman dies every 2 hours from ovarian cancer, prompt testing of the women who are most vulnerable can prevent unnecessary deaths from this disease.
