Speaking after attending the family picnic at Slough’s Polish Club, Fiona Mactaggart MP for Slough said:
“This was a great event, organised by members of the Polish Community Slough WHICH welcomed everyone from any community in our town. The Polish community is one that has contributed greatly to our town and country working hard and contributing economically and culturally. Families were able to enjoy the event and it was a chance for people of Polish heritage to see hope well their community in Slough is doing”
The event was organised by ‘Polish Community in Slough’, a Small Charity which started in 2011 as a community group and in June 2014 formally set up its Constitution and appointed Trustees. The main aim of the PSC is to support development and integration of Polish community in Slough with other local communities and facilitate their participation in the community activities.
